Welcome to BHS

  • Dear Brighton Students, Parents and Community Members,

Welcome to Brighton High School, home of the Bulldogs. BHS is one of the first comprehensive high schools in Colorado dating back to the late 1800s. Our school is located in the heart of the Brighton community. The Brighton community is located northeast of Denver, Colorado.

Thank you for taking a moment to explore information about one of the finest high schools in the United States. Brighton High School has a long tradition of excellence in all facets of student life. Our faculty is focused on helping every student achieve every single day. We are an accredited AVID school preparing and supporting our students to be life long learners and to challenge them to go farther and achieve their dreams. All students are encouraged to take the most challenging course work possible in order to be ready for a very competitive global economy. In order for our students to challenge themselves, we offer both Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) classes in many different content areas.

We are very proud of our authentic “Bulldog Spirit” as we participate and compete with the top high schools in Colorado in athletics, activities, performing arts, visual arts and academic achievement. We have wonderful teenagers attending BHS who consistently push themselves to learn and achieve.

Please feel free to contact us for more information at 303-655-4200

    Sincerely,
    John L. Biner
    Principal
